Three Kingdoms: The Battle Begins offers a one-of-a-kind quest system that delivers missions to players while they are still in the battlefield, maximizing the player's enjoyment of and involvement in the battle. This unique feature enables the player to continue their travels while having the benefit of receiving items from completing quests. Player vs. Player (PVP) battlegrounds are available on the hour every hour 24/7, allowing the winners of the battle to become Lords who are granted access to exclusive skills and items. Honor points are awarded during these battles and can be used to purchase unique items and equipment from special merchants.

An exciting Player Kill (PK) system is also part of this epic adventure which includes a unique "Death Note" feature. This element exists so if a player is killed by the same opponent multiple times, the opponent is added to the player's death note. The opponent's location will be specified on the player's map as a blinking signal, enabling the player to execute revenge more easily.

Classes and Skills:

Warrior
The Warrior is aclose combat specialist, designed to stand toe to toe with the enemy, absorbing damage and dishing it out along the way. The shield of any well-balanced party, the Warrior has the highest defense and hit-points in the game, while still being able to do respectable amounts of damage when needing to do so. Upon hitting level 40, the Warrior must decide whether to focus on defense and shield skills, or outright damage by specializing in 2-handed weapons.

Mystic
Although the Mystic is easily the most fragile class in Three Kingdoms, they make up for it by doing the most damage, and having the highest variety of skills. Designed to fight on the backlines, casting devastating spells and healing teammates, they Mystic does best with the assistance of other players. At level 40, the Mystic must decide whether to focus their efforts on their attack and damage spells, or on healing and support magic.

Archer
The Archer is a ranged fighter that relies on their agility and quickness to inflict great damage on their foes, while staying out of range of any counter-attacks. Although they lack the defense of the Warrior, their high dodge percentage allows them to withstand blows until they move to a safe distance and start their barrage again. Upon reaching level 20, the Archer must decide whether to focus on bows and crossbows, or on throwing weapons.

Craftsman
The Craftsman plays a unique role in Three Kingdoms. Foregoing the intense combat training of the other classes, the Craftsman instead concentrates on making unique items and weapons, all of which are invaluable for the other classes to survive. They can also create powerful siege weapons that can be used during PvP battles, while still offering a decent set of combat skills similar to the Warrior.
