BattleForge is a video game developed by EA Phenomic and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on Windows in March 2009. BattleForge is a card based RTS (Real-time strategy). It revolves around trading, buying and winning through means of micro-transactions. Micro-transactions are not required for playing the game, only for buying new cards. On May 26, 2009, BattleForge became a Play 4 Free branded game with only 32 of the 200 cards available. In order to get additional cards, players will now need to buy points on the BattleForge website. The retail version comes with all of the cards and 3,000 BattleForge points.

The BattleForge Play4Free Client offers you complete access to all areas and functionality of the game, including all content updates (new PvP maps, Renegade Campaign) made available since release.
Along with all functionality of the game, BattleForge Play4Free includes two decks consisting of 32 cards. You can play any scenario in the game, including the Renegade Campaign. With BattleForge Play4Free, you are also able to purchase Booster Pack and bid on cards in the Auction House.
However, you can only offer a card in the Auction House once you have reached level 4 in PvE and level 10 in PvP. Direct trades and sending in-game mail with attachments are also blocked until you reach this experience level.

There are a total of 200 cards available, almost equally divided between the powers of fire, frost, nature, and shadow. Players can buy and sell cards at an in-game auction house, using BattleForge Points (BF Points), an in-game currency. Players can also invite each other to conduct a direct trade.

There is a PvE mode (player versus environment) and a PvP mode (player versus player). In the PvE mode, players can complete missions. Some of these missions can only be played by 1 player, while others can be played with 2, 4 or 12 players. There are three modes available in missions: standard, advanced and expert. In order to unlock advanced and expert modes, players will have to complete the series of missions on standard mode first. The rewards for the missions are gold, card upgrades and PvE experience points. These experience points will increase a player's PvE level.

For PvP, players can choose between ranked and unranked PvP. Unranked PvP will not give any rewards, but can be useful for testing cards and strategies or for a simple, friendly match. Ranked pvp will give players gold, ELO points and tokens as reward. Gold and tokens can be traded for card upgrades, while ELO points will increase a player's PvP level.

Huxley is a bold step forward for the massively multiplayer genre. In a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has divided into three mutually hostile species, a battle for survival rages through the ruins of a ravaged Earth.

Huxley is an "MMOFPS," a game that combines the white-knuckle action and player vs. player combat of your favorite first-person shooters with the social interactions, large-scale battles, character growth and persistent gameplay of your favorite online RPGs.


STORY

When Earth's Moon was shattered in a devastating cosmic catastrophe, it might have been the end of all life on Earth. Fortunately only a small percentage of ejected Moon material landed on Earth. Not enough to wipe out humanity, but enough to completely destroy civilization. Worse, the survivors began to mutate when the material that had shattered the Moon also landed on earth. Now the pitiful remnants of humanity, subdivided into mutually hostile Sapien, Alternative and Hybrid subspecies, battle each other and struggle to survive in a devastated world.


RACES

After the destruction of the Moon, mutation caused by the objects that had destroyed it that landed on Earth caused the human race to split into three subspecies. Worse, each subspecies has two distinctive variants that through time and breeding may eventually be recognized as a species of their own. While there was initially not much more than the usual racism and discrimination between members of each human subspecies, the "One" faction amongst the Sapiens eventually decided to enslave the Alternates. This resulted in rebellion by the Alternates and lasting hatred between the races, triggering a war that rages to this day. In Huxley, players will be able to play as a variant of either the Sapien or Alternative races.

Sapiens - "One" Faction: The Ones are classic humans, identical in appearance and genetic make-up to pre-apocalypse humanity.

Sapiens - "Syn" Faction: The Syns are pale, elf-like humans with pale skin and blonde hair. They were also victims of discrimination by the Ones, but maintain an alliance with them thanks to their shared hatred of the Alternatives.

Alternatives - "Alternix" Faction: The Alternix are the most obviously mutated humans with gray skin, stiff white hair and eyes without iris or pupils. They are small and wiry but very fast and physically adept.

Alternatives - "Alteraver" Faction: The Alteravers are large and physically every powerful and make great front-line warriors.


VEHICLES

One of the most exciting aspects of Huxley is the promise of not only first-person gunplay but also vehicular combat. These vehicles will be crucial when it comes to transporting squads of infantry fighters and many will be powerful combat vehicles in their own right. While not every air, sea or land vehicle has been released, the game will sport a number of armored personnel transports, light scout trucks, heavy tanks, dropships and small scout flyers.


WEAPONS

Given that the post-apocalyptic world is one in which a good day means surviving until nightfall, weapons will play a key role in Huxley. As such, they had better look cool, since players will be looking down their barrels more often than not. As players gain in levels, they'll become certified to carry higher-caliber hardware.

Mir II is a 2D, top-down game combining player versus player (PvP) and player versus environment (PvE) combat. The story centers on an epic war between the two monster tribes of the land, the Oma and the Neru, and the four groups of heroes that defend it. Players can choose from any of these four classes – Assassins, stealth attackers with magic attacks; Taoists, mentally disciplined martial artists; Wizards, mages with an arsenal of spells at their disposal; and Warriors, fighters with admirable strength and stamina – when creating their characters. Like any classic MMORPG, players develop their character’s skills and abilities by battling monsters, story-based quests and teaming up with friends for dungeon adventures. This retro style of gameplay is combined with a robust array of social features to keep Mir II at the cutting edge.

New players have the option of playing one of three professions, with no more than three characters per server. Professions range from Taoist, healers who use magical and melee attacks; Warriors, who use mainly melee attacks with some attacks relying on Magical Power; and Wizards who solely depend on magic (though some weapons do compensate for their lack of general weapon knowledge).

Assassin

In 2008 a new class was announced in Korea. The Assassin class, a class which like a warrior uses both melee and magic attacks, however the assassins main strengths are drawn from the number of Area of Engagement attacks that come with it. The assassin class will be featured in the new USA Mir2 Server run by gamepot

Warrior

Warriors are incredibly strong characters that use their brute force with little magic to hack away at their enemies. Warriors are generally the easiest character for newer players due to their higher maximum health and easy of play.

Wizard

Wizards are a magic based class using magical ranged attacking methods due to their lack of ability to sustain melee damage. Similarly, wizards rarely use melee attacks against their enemies.

Taoist

Taoists are largely dependent on hunting with either a warrior or wizard as its strengths are as a supporting class until the later levels. The Taoist is an essential for hard hitting bosses or high hp bosses and are very good when hunting in high level places such as Past Bichon.

PK

Players are allowed to attack and kill other players ingame for any given reason, though it is generally frowned upon. Once a player has killed another player they are labeled with either yellow or later, red, that informs other players that they have killed somebody recently. Red players are not allowed in most cities and are generally ignored by NPC's. Red players are also fair game to other players, a punishment for their PK status.

Another punishment is the chance of cursing your weapon from the death of another player. Curses cause weapons to deal less of a melee blow. Increased number of curses will render a weapon useless.

While attacking another player, the attacker will be labeled with a Brown player name. Any other player can attack and kill the offending player without accumulating PK points.

Point System

Players are labeled with a PK status after successfully killing another player. Each kill is considered 100 PK points. One point is removed every minute. Following the point system

• 0-99 Points - The player continues to have a white character name, even though the character still has PK points.

• 100-199 Points - The player's name will turn yellow, a symbol that the player has killed somebody recently.

• 200 and above - The player's name will be red, showing that the player has killed at least three people. While red the player can be killed without any ill effect to the attacking player. Red players will lose almost all of their bag when dying.

Any towns that are guarded by a Guard, Archer Guard or a Town Archer will attack any red named player on sight. This stops any red named players from entering towns, or if they're already in the town, then it decreases their safe areas dramatically, as one wrong move can cause any of the patrolling guards to attack, along with any other player on the game.

Characters

Characters have infinite possibility of growth in the world of Titan Online. There are no professions in Titan Online. Every player starts with the same abilities and customize their own growth. It is up to player to distribute skill attributes as the characters advances.

Fisted Glove uses fists for attacking and has limited range of attack. Fisted Glove can utilize pressure force to create consistently strong attacks.

Sword has sharp edges on both sides and can attack with speed. Movement with Sword is easy and there are variety of attacks with Sword. Blade has single sided sharp edges for slicing opponents. Blade is heavy and can inflict substantial damage.

Spear has a sharp blade at the end of a shaft. Long shaft allows for different attacks with small movements and can be used for areal attack as well. Bow has the longest range of attacks. Because of the superior range, player with smaller hit point can engage in a battle. Requires strategy, speed and control.

Force attack targets weak points with effectiveness. Can be advanced to attack with different styles.
