Land of Magic is a classic 2D massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) with unique story of ancient battle which took place between God and Dragon. In the great beginning of emptiness, there existed God and Dragon, two superb beings. Their origin is unknown and no one knows how the war begun between them. This long lasting war of brutality has caused fatal wounds for both God and Dragon. Blood gushing from the wound of God created many different forms of Gods. Blood gushing from the wound of Dragon created many kinds of Dragons. Long lasted battle has ended with Dragon being defeated. God has torn Dragon into 5 pieces and created Sky, Earth, Sea, Mountains, and Islands. This is how the Story of Land of Magic begins?

Realistic Realm
Since the creation of the realm of the Land of Magic in 1994, players have participated in making the story of the Land of Magic unfold. And in tribute to these players, their names and actions have become a part of the history of the Land of Magic. The vampire princess, who had defeated Derek Blood Moon, is now the Queen of the Red Moon; previous players who had earned great a fame have NPCs and monsters named after them.

The Rebirth System
When a character reaches the highest possible level, the character may switch to another profession. This is called Reincarnation. In the Reincarnation System, after reaching the highest level, players can change their profession and take all of their skill points to the new profession.
After being reincarnated, the maximum level that a character can attain will go up gradually. Upon switching to a new profession, the character goes back to Level 2. As the character levels up skill, HP, man and stamina gradually increase. In addition, the maximum level that a character can have also increases by 2. Ordinarily, the highest level possible is 400, but after each Reincarnation the highest level will increase in increments of 2 (ex. 402, 404…).

Level Blessed Item
In order to equip or wear an item, players must be above the level requirement for that item. A unique feature of the Land of Magic is that the item level requirement can sometimes be blessed and reduced. These items are called Level Blessed items. The required level for these items can be reduced by at most 50 levels. The required level is set randomly between the level of the player and monster. The higher the monster level is from the player, the higher the probability of the monster dropping a Level Blessed item.
An item that has its level requirement reduced by the maximum 50 levels is called a Completely Blessed Item.
If a level 50 player kills a level 100 monster, it will drop an item and the required level will be set between 50~100 at random. If the player is lucky, they may get an item with the required level reduced by the maximum 50 levels. That item is called a Perfect Blessed item.

Special Items
A EGO weapon grows every time you use it on a monster. Currently you can change all weapons into EGO weapons through the Wizard Kara in Soreis. Future patches will also enable the weapon to talk to the player.
Some unique weapons cast magical spells automatically. Such weapons will cast magical spells at random during battle.
