Cabal defines their tagline “Revolution of Action” in their PvP and siege wars. Their expansive skill list open up a lot of strategies during battle, while the flashy skill effects add to the beauty of the battle. This game turns PvP into an explosive art form.

This game has the makings of a successful game. The turn-based system provides a new level of strategy and tactics during PvP battles. The turn-based strategy of Final Fantasy in active-time mode certainly pales in comparison to Atlantica’s PvP.

Wan Mei’s (Perfect World Co. Inc) flagship game has one of the expansive PvP features: a toggle PK option, open PvP arenas, duels, and massive clan wars. All these features are in a game that can withstand heavy server loads. There’s minimal lag in a fully-packed PvP instance.
5. Ragnarok Online
One of the earliest MMORPGs still has one of the most sought after PvP experiences. Classic PvP battles abound in the arena and during War of Emperium. Although almost every aspect of character growth is calculable, it doesn’t overshadow the fact that the game still provides an exciting PvP stage.
4. Dragonica
Their arena-based PvP battles are fast-paced and action-packed. Combos can be seen flying everywhere, making the battle look more like a fighting game than an MMORPG. It could’ve been an amazing feature, were it not for the minimal lag presence.
3. ArchLord
ArchLord revolved around the issue of politics and warfare, in the medieval setting. Players struggle to fight for the right to become the “Archlord” or the server’s ruler. With this premise, the PvP feature is given much importance. It’s only a hairline shy of the second spot, mainly because of the its age.
2. RF Online
RF online is one of the earlier faction-based MMORPGs. Their chip wars could very well be the largest-scale RvRvR battles ever made. Open PvP grounds for opposing factions, and elections for the race’s ruler make the game probably one of the most political MMORPGs ever made. The game requires very high system requirements to survive the chip wars, making this a notch below the top one.
1. Rohan Online
Rohan Online recently became one of the most famous PvP MMORPGs to hit the online world. Their massive-scale multi-racial battles stretch the limits of survival. The Revenge system also adds more challenge and excitement to the game. Moreover, to add to that challenge, most of the dungeons are not instanced, making quests a race to who gets to the endgoal first… or who gets to die first.
