Blaze of Ambition, the new expansion to the 3D anime-style cult-hit MMORPG, Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online, was released for free download to Aeria Games users. The update adds two modes of player versus player (PvP) battles: 15 on 15 map control and 5 on 5 death match along with other new functionality.

Similar to rock-paper-scissors, the melee fighter, magic casters, and long-range gunners have strengths and weaknesses against each other. In addition, each player has a demon ally with unique abilities to complement or compound the player’s strengths. Through participating in PvP matches, players can obtain rewards such as special items and rankings.

This update combines what were formerly two separate content expansions in the game’s Japanese servers. In addition to the introduction of PvP, there are 12 new demon types and a new demon rebirth feature that increases the characteristics of your demons making them even more powerful than ever!

Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online is the massively multiplayer online variant in the long running console franchise including Persona, Digital Devil Saga, and Nocturne. It is available for free by Aeria Games along with other well-known titles such as Hello Kitty Online, Shaiya, and Last Chaos.
