Tales Runner Overview and Features:
Since its release in October 2008, Tales Runner has been updating at an incredible rate. Currently, it has over 40 map courses, 600 items, 5 pets, and 8 characters. This is not all that this game has to offer. With monthly updates, Tales Runner will soon bring forth even more game features, items, pets, and maps!
Because Tales Runner is an action fantasy mmo, it has lots of action to offer to players. Races in Tales Runner range from anywhere between 1 to 30 players!! That's the largest race size in Racing MMO history! No other Racing MMOs has ever allowed 30 players to race simultaneously and Tales Runner does it easily. Lag is low and users with average computer systems can easily enjoy this mode.
You don't have to race alone in Tales Runner, some of the maps are designed specifically for team races. There's even a Relay Mode which accomidates up to six teams at once! Challenge new and old friends to a competitive team vs. team battle. Remember to cheer them on!
If you ever get tired of racing you can always hang out with your friends at the Park. The Park is a big social interactive setting which allows you to meet everyone in Tales Land. You can visit the waterfall, drag your friend around on a leash, play some mini-games, and more!
For a more private social setting, why not give the farm a try? Every player in Tales Runner is given a plot of land to decorate as he or she chooses. To learn more read about "The Farm System"!!
Tales Runner's item creation system, dubbed Alchemy, is a refreshing variation on existing concepts that rewards players with some truly powerful gear.
Ever tried playing the Slots and wished you had more luck? The same concept applies with the Alchemy System. The more luck a player has, the better the chance of gaining a truely awesome gear!
Players take "Alchemy Cards" earned at the end of each race and use "Recipes" to create special items. Each item has the potential to fall under 4 ranks, S, A, B, C. Unlocking an item of the highest rank (S) is not the only challenge since items within the same rank can gain levels and have different bonus attributed to them. A player with a high level, high ranked item has to put time and effort into the task. However, the end result of the item is definitely a miraculous item to behold.
The Farm System is not only visually appealing but also a marvelous social interactive setting. Players are given a place to mingle while expressing themselves creatively. Although housing concepts are not new to MMOs, Tales Runner's Farm System incorporates a lot of features which are unique compared to other normal housing ideas. For example, some of the items in the farm must be grown such as the mounts players may ride on or the trees and flowers. The farm even allows players to harvest crops to sell and obtain special unique animals! Also, many other unique items for the farm may be unlocked through different ways such as marriage items for the farm!
The Farm is a great place to invite and meet new friends as well as host parties, play tag, hang out, and spend quality time with that special someone in game. It's a place to show off your uniqueness through design and creativity.
