Seal Online Overview and Features:
Seal Online is mostly a point-and-click MMORPG; movement, combat, and many other commands are all controlled by mouse. The player can choose from 7 different classes to start with. However, if the player chooses to start with the Beginner, he/she can choose to job change into the other 6 classes when he reaches Level 10.
Seal Online's travel system uses a method called 'Warp Gates'. These gates, located in various towns, allow the player to move to other maps. Players may use scrolls, set revive points, use the Wagon Driver NPC, or just type out a Teleport command for a small fee to warp to different maps.
The player can learn skills to trade, open or join a guild after completing a quest, open a chat room, create a party to fight monsters more effectively, open an in-game bank account to hold or collect more items and money, nurture a pet, do quests, and fish.
Seal Online's level up system uses a point method. Skills level up with skill points. Each time a player levels up, they receive a set number of skill points and status points, which they then may use to strengthen their character.
Classes
The choice of class determines which spells the Player's character will receive, as well as which weapons and armor the character can equip.
- First Classes
* Beginner: The basic character or the "novice" in Seal Online. After reaching level 10, the beginner has the option of advancing to one of the six other classes the game has to offer.
* Knight: A defensive class specializing in one-handed swords and shields. They are the masters of AOE (Area of Effect) skills, because of the defense their armor provides them. Status points are to be distributed into strength, agility, and occasionally vitality.
* Warrior: A powerful combat based class. Warriors use two-handed swords to deal massive damage to enemies. Similar to the knight, status points go straight to strength and agility.
* Magician: One who is devout to offensive magic. Typically have low defense but proportionally powerful magic attacks. Magician focus on intelligence and wisdom to raise their abilities.
* Priest (Cleric in some countries): A versatile class specializing in both physical attacks and healing magic. They are loyal to holy teachings and live a life of servitude to the gods of Shiltz. Strength, intelligence, and wisdom give Priests their powers.
* Jester (Clown in some countries): They share common traits with thieves and rogues of other games, using the dagger as their main weapon, or throwing darts. Jesters use strength and a little of agility and intelligence.
* Craftsman: Craftsmen can create strong items and refine them to dangerous levels of power. If necessary a craftsman can defend himself against creatures with tools he uses for item creation, such as hammers and wrenches. Luck is used for item creation along with strength for attack power.
- Second Classes
* Vagabond: The Beginner's second class. (Known as wanderers, gypsies, rogues, and hobos in some countries) They have an advantage of being evo from beginner earlier than any other class but are the weakest in strength and lacks equipment for defense. Require strength for attack power.
* Renegade: A second class of Knight. A class that is best in one-handed sword attack. Unlike defenders they can focus their attack on one enemy dealing greater damage. They require the same as a knight and warrior, Strength for power, agility for focus.
* Defender: A second class of Knight. Known as the best tankers in the game. They are the "true" masters of AoE (Area of Effect) in skills which are far more powerful and better range than an adverage knight skill. They require the same as a knight and warrior, Strength for power, agility for focus.
* Berserker: A second class of Warrior. Known to be the class that specializes in mastered combo attacks to wipe out their enemies. They require strength and agility.
* Swordmaster: A second class of Warrior. Very known to wipe out their enemy with highly advance skills with their swords. This class relies on strength and agility.
* Templar: A second class of Priest. Known to be "Wars" of the game. Instead of "assisting" one another, they resemble the battle side of a priest. Using the true holy force of magic to vanquish their opponent, Templars have no mercy on their enemy. Requires mostly strength and average intelligence
* Apostle: A second class of Priest. Using the advance form of holy magic they provide the most protection and assistance in the game. Require little strength, a lot of intellect, little wisdom.
* Assassin: A second class of Jester. Instead of throwing cards, darts, and tricks at their opponents. Assassin are the only class that use Dual-weapons in the game to strike down their opponent. Assassin rely on Strength, intelligence, and agility.
* Gambler: A second class of Jester. Taking Risk in the game to survive. Gamblers is a class that uses card tricks on their opponents with deadly skill attacks. (But can cause a risk at the user status to give up one thing for another.) Requires little strength, high intellect, and some agility.
* Fire Wizard: A second class of Magician. Unlike magicians. Fire Wizards are more powerful in fire element attacks with unique effects to incinerate their opponents better than an ice wizard but slower casting. Requires Intelligence and Wisdom.
* Ice Wizard: A second class of Magician. Unlike magicians, Ice Wizard are more powerful in water element attacks in unique effects to crush their opponents quicker than a fire wizard but less damage.
* Demolitionist: A second class of Craftsman. There a law about craftsman are not allowed to wield a weapon. Instead Demolitionist are designed to use hammers and wrenches to destroy their enemies and resemble the true battle side of a Craftsman. Require strength and little luck for evasion.
* Artisan: A second class of Craftsman. Artisan are more advance in smelting better equipment than craftsmen. They are weak in battle but provide the best armour in the game. Require strength for damage and Luk for item creation.
